Product Introduction

Zipper cords (zipper pull cords, zipper cord pull tabs) are used to increase the length of the zipper pull area. This style consists of a braided cord loop and a long handle; the handle has rounded ends, a slightly waisted middle, and dense fine texture on the surface, providing a longer finger contact area. The cord loop size and connection method must be determined according to the zipper pull tab hole and the usage position.

Material Selection: For the grip, thermoplastic elastomers such as TPU / TPE can be evaluated, with the material selected according to hardness, hand feel and molding requirements; for the braided cord, polyester or nylon can be evaluated. The specific material grade, cord specifications and cord-to-grip connection solution must be confirmed in combination with the project and samples.
Molding Process: The long handle can be injection molded; the waisted contour and fine surface texture can be realized in mold design, together with overmolding of the cord insert or assembly fixation. Sampling checks the fine texture appearance, handle edges, cord end connection, and actual pulling feel.
Customization Options: Cord loop length, cord diameter, braiding pattern, long handle length and width, degree of waisting, end fillet, texture density, hardness/softness, color, and logo; the handle-to-cord-loop ratio can be adjusted according to the zipper installation position.
Applications: Front plackets of sports jackets and outdoor apparel, zippers on backpacks and tool bags, and outdoor gear storage bags. Suitable for pull areas requiring a long handle; the matching configuration must be confirmed by considering the opening space, pull tab hole size, and usage method.
