Product Introduction

The side-release buckle (side-opening buckle, bag buckle) mates a male buckle with a female buckle and is used for connecting and opening/closing webbing. This model has a rounded, waisted buckle body; the male buckle has elastic prongs on both sides, and one end is fitted with a textured webbing adjustment bar, allowing the strap length to be adjusted in conjunction with the threading method; pressing the prongs on both sides separates the buckle parts.

Male-female buckle fit, webbing width, open-close feel and buckle body shape can be confirmed per project, while connection retention force, repeated open-close performance and webbing anti-slip effect are subject to verification with matched samples.

Product Specifications and Customization

Material Selection: Thermoplastic materials such as POM / PA can be evaluated according to prong resilience, buckle body rigidity and the usage environment. Specific material grades, colors and formulations are confirmed per project material selection and samples.
Molding Process: The male and female buckles are injection molded separately, then subjected to mating assembly and open-close inspection. Mold design must take into account prong resilience, buckle engagement fit and the webbing-threading bar structure, and surface texture or mold markings can be added according to the plan.
Customization Options: Compatible with webbing width and thickness, buckle body dimensions and curved profile, prong and catch structure, adjustment bar, opening and closing feel, color, and LOGO; the fixed end and adjustable end solutions can be evaluated according to the mounting position on the bag.
Applications: Chest straps or connector straps for backpacks and school bags, fixing straps for travel bags and storage bags, and webbing connections for everyday outdoor bags. The buckle body, webbing, and stitching method must be confirmed together as a set.
