Product Introduction

Zipper cords (zipper pull cords, zipper cord pull tabs) are used to extend the pull of zippers on apparel and bags. This model uses a braided cord loop with a short round-head grip; the middle of the grip is narrowed and the surface carries dense fine ridges, creating a textured area that is easy for fingers to contact. The cord loop can be installed into a matching pull tab hole; confirm the specific installation method according to the zipper structure.

Material Selection: For the grip, thermoplastic elastomers such as TPU / TPE can be evaluated, with the material selected according to hardness, hand feel and molding requirements; for the braided cord, polyester or nylon can be evaluated. The specific material grade, cord specifications and cord-to-grip connection solution must be confirmed in combination with the project and samples.
Molding Process: The grip can be injection molded, and the surface fine ridges can be formed by mold texture; cord fixation can be evaluated through insert overmolding or assembly methods. Sampling focuses on confirming the round-head contour, texture definition, end fixation, and pull tab hole fit.
Customization Options: Cord loop length, cord diameter, grip length and width, round-head shape, narrowed waist contour, fine ridge density, hardness, color, and connection method; the marking area can be evaluated per design requirements, and the pull feel and installation fit are confirmed with samples.
Applications: Zipper areas on sportswear and casual jacket pockets, lightweight backpacks and waist bags, tool storage bags, etc. The short handle size can be selected according to the space available; cord loop and texture options must be confirmed in conjunction with the zipper pull tab and pulling habits.
